BLUEPRINTS & DECK PLANS 2081

These plans were created (in the late 90s) using the instruction sheet to the 1992 Halcyon Nostromo model kit as a guide, a copy machine, MS Paint, an X-Acto knife, and a bottle of Liquid Paper.  Many thanks to the talented artists who produced the kit and instruction sheet!  If you can find (and afford) one of these rare kits, it’s worth the money.

Note: except where noted, these blueprints were drawn in the late 90s for illustration purposes, not for encyclopedic detail. For the most accurate set available, see SpaceJockey/Graham Langridge’s USCSS Nostromo poster.

After many hours (back in the 90s) considering the proper placement of each compartment, corridor and companionway, I finally just went to work.  These cutaways and deck plans are the result! I tried to be as consistent as possible with what I could remember from the film.  [Note: this was before the internet and other publications provided us with so many reference photographs!]

Upon seeing Prometheus in 2012 and the auxiliary pod she deployed, I tried it out on my Nostromo blueprints.
