April 17, 2017 – Added the link to ALIEN Movies Resource website to “The Network” page; another site that has seen some changes in the internet from back when it, and we, were younger.

April 12, 2017 – Updated and uploaded The Nostromo Files v3.0 splash page, commemorating the old Yahoo! GeoCities home page.  Also activated the link to the “Updates” page on the Overmonitoring Address Matrix.  The full history of the site is now available.

April 4, 2017 – Added the link to AliensCollection.com to “The Network” page.  The site has been around since before The Nostromo Files‘ linuxsweden.nu days.  Back then, before social media, admins shared each other’s site URLs on a Links page to build community.  AliensCollection.com still offers a plethora of information about the universe of Alien.

March 26, 2017 – Rolled out the Overmonitoring Address Matrix version 1.0. Includes active links to “Photo Gallery”, “Interface 2037”, “Blog”, “The Network”, “Deck A”, “Deck B”, and ‘Deck C” pages.

2012-2016  – The Nostromo Files website is lost in cyberspace.  Whereabouts unknown.  No further enhancement.

2005 to 2012 – A copy of The Nostromo Files website is hosted by TheAliensLegacy.org by Jesse DeGraff (admin).

2002 – Hosting at linuxsweden.nu ended.

February 16, 2002 – Minor maintenance on the site.  Redesign of “Insignia” page.

December 15, 2001 – Added Nostromo cutaway blueprint and deck plans to the “Blueprints” page, with thanks to the Halcyon model kit producers for including nice drawings in their instruction sheet.

October 20, 2001 – The Nostromo Files v2.0 moves to a new home on the Internet at linuxsweden.nu, thanks to the generosity of a new Swedish friend.  Overall site redesign, with new pages, using Microsoft Word.  I changed the navigation structure to make maintenance and additions quicker and easier and thereby cure a case of “the tail wagging the dog.”

May 5, 2001 – Updated “Links” and “Summary pages”.  Added “Ship Signage” and “Airlock & Gangway” pages.

September 9, 2000 – Blueprints of Nostromo are added to the “Description” page and a link to Martin Bowers’ Model World is added to the “Links” page.

August 12, 2000 – Removed individual page counters and Geocities ad links.  I’m hopeful that using Netscape Composer to modify the pages and then using Geocities File Manager to upload them will cut down on duplication of ad windows that cause browser failure.  I think using Composer’s upload feature causes the duplication.  Thanks to Scott Middlebrook for telling me about the browser failure issue.

July 3, 2000 – Added link to the Nostromo discussion group CTVNostromo on the EGroups website.

April 7, 2000 – Added a link for “SciFi Jumpgate,” which has added this site to its listings.  Also added more questions to the “Extrapolations” page.

March 4, 2000 – Added a flight plan graphic link to the “Flight Plan” page and a “Starship Registry” page which lists all the ships on which the Nostromo crew have served.  Thanks to Scott Middlebrook for the use of his chart of the Nostromo‘s journey from Earth to Thedus (…to LV-426), the basis for the chart shown here.
