BLUEPRINTS & DECK PLANS 2081

These plans were created (in the late 90s) using the instruction sheet to the 1992 Halcyon Nostromo model kit as a guide, a copy machine, MS Paint, an X-Acto knife, and a bottle of Liquid Paper.  Many thanks to the talented artists who produced the kit and instruction sheet. ( If you can find one of these rare kits, it’s worth the money. Due to the vinyl material used for the ship’s main hull pieces, they often require advanced model-building skills to restore to their proper shape..)

Note: except where noted, these blueprints were drawn in the late 90s for illustration purposes, not for encyclopedic detail. See SpaceJockey/Graham Langridge’s USCSS Nostromo poster for a much more accurate representation. In addition to that drawing, see deck plans and other ALIEN vehicles and spacecraft in Graham’s book, Alien: The Blueprints, published by Titan Books (September 2019).

These drawings were created after many hours of research and consideration of the placement of each compartment, corridor and companionway. There was not much to go on;  this was before the internet and other publications provided us with so many reference material.

Upon seeing Prometheus in 2012 and the auxiliary pod it deployed, a similar feature was added to these Nostromo blueprints.
