Welcome, New Friends.

>BLOG DC2964 // POST BEGINS<

Greetings! If you are one of the new visitors (from around the globe!) joining the site and its social media portals lately, this is just a quick post to officially welcome you to The Nostromo Files!

Some time ago, I created this to share whenever we get new members:

You might recognize it as a variation on the Ron Cobb semiotic standard signage seen onboard the Nostromo.

I am also pleased to announce that the Google Translate feature is available again! You will find it at the bottom of the home page. Once you click it and choose your language, you should be able to read dynamic text in your preferred language. See below for the location of the widget:

If you have any questions, you can comment below or send them in via INTERFACE 2037.

So come on in and make yourself at home! You’ll find fresh coffee through that passageway to your right. Some say it’s the best thing on this ship…

Artwork property of Ian Stewart, Senior 3D Artist at Cloud Imperium Games.

Later, gators!

Darrell

  1. Right. I’ve been quiet for some time, got lost down on C deck. Hey! we were blind down here, lights flickered thou and restored itself to a rather cosy level. Managed to grab a portable terminal and patch in manually to the O A Matrix. Those blueprints provides a much needed overview and reassuringly presents a way out of here. Good news, I found Brett’s pen. Recognised it from the time he reluctantly lent it to me. An old habit of mine made me chew on the tip and it has a weird sort of wasabi taste to it. I’ll by you a new one mate. Back soon. Heard sounds from the landing claw chamber, a faint voice calling for “Jonesy”. Heading over there now to see if I may provide some assistance. Pvt K.
