Nostromo, down.

Inspired by this awesome pic of the Prometheus ship (and cutaway of ‘Magellan’ version) and its drop-down cargo module, I tweaked my old Nostromo drawings accordingly. Not sure if it works, but it was fun to imagine… We never really get to see Nostromo in a standard dirt-side ‘working’ configuration after all.

The sheer size of the Nostromo means that the mechanics of a cargo lift like I have drawn might be a little tricky.

It might work better on a ship the size of the Prometheus since she’s smaller.

Here is a graphic I put together for another conversation that shows a rough comparison of the two ships:

An approximation of the sizes of the Nostromo, the Prometheus, and juggernaut.
