What do you do when you’re not satisfied with your Nostromo model kit build? Well, when you have the skills, you rebuild it, of course!

That is exactly what model builder Marc Elkins did, casting a transparent bridge module, adding a mounting rod, and lighting the landing gear bays.

It is always a wonder to see what can be done with that old Halcyon kit. It was released in 1992 and its resilience allows modelers to create versions of Nostromo even today.

All finished. Not bad for a 25-year-old model kit!
