In this article, at in70mm.com, Michael Coate takes a look back at the  1979 release of ALIEN in the deluxe 70-millimeter wide gauge format. The availability of this larger format had an impact on the film’s reception.

  1. Alien was a movie before its time. I got to see it with my dad. I am working on a short film of an Alien based story set in a time after the first movie and before the second.
