Chasing The Damn Cat: Scene Analysis: The Last Supper, Alien

<INTERFACE 2037 READY FOR INQUIRY>
Jeffrey Siniard, of Chasing The Damn Cat, recently posted an analysis of the chestburster scene in Alien.

The scene is a classic example of the old screenwriting adage, “show, don’t tell”.

In the article, we are reminded of how much we learn, through his actions and words, about the motivations of the Nostromo‘s reticent science officer.

And thus begin to feel that there may be more to worry about than Kane’s paroxysm of choking.

An entertaining review of a chilling bit of cinema, for fans of Alien and of film in general.

(And for those who love screen caps, SIniard provides a credit link to the MovieScreencaps.com website, from whence these pics were downloaded.)

Enjoy!
