Attention: Model-makers, diorama builders, and anyone else who enjoys behind-the-scenes photos from Alien.
I stumbled onto some interesting Alien photographs over at The Red List, today. Many I have seen before, but some I had not. There are some from behind-the-scenes and on-set, as well as more modern re-takes. There are even a few of the Bob Penn contact sheets.
Here are several I liked:
Dallas, Kane, and Lambert entering the derelict.
A modern re-take of Nostromo, with nebula. Evokes the Aliens intro sequence.
An unusual shot of the Nostromo (at center, nearest the planetoid) and the Refinery.
Lambert and Dallas ponder the pilot.
Exploring the pilot’s chamber on the derelict.
Exterior, planetoid. set.
A different angle on Kane, and eggs.
Kane on his way to find “the diamonds”.
Alternate angle on Nostromo and Refinery.
A different view of the trio and pilot.
Exterior, planetoid set.
