<INTERFACE 2037 READY FOR INQUIRY>
Over at Monsters in Motion, there is a Nostromo model kit that I have never seen before.
Based on these photos, the Nostromo Towing Vehicle Model Resin Kit appears to be very detailed and its proportions closely match those of the 7-foot filming miniature:
It retails for $199.99, which is less expensive than what the Halcyon vinyl/plastic kit is going for on some sites.
There were three kits available as of this posting.

At first glance, the Nostromo Resin Kit at MIM looks really good but is it available anywhere else? MIM does not have a good reputation and I would never purchasing anything from them again.

I have only seen it at MIM. It appears to be a re-cast of the Halcyon kit. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them.
